A ton of books have been left upstairs in my Machiya/ Freak shack/ Pile of Rubble. After I finished Into the Wild I embarked upon All the King's Men. I am a little surprised that I haven't read it yet as it is right up my (proverbial) alley. 100 pages in and it is already on the top 10 list. Quality. Very Quality.
I have found that the internet has no blockers on it here and am therefor chancing it and posting from school. I think they can live with it because I am a rad teacher and that is just the price they have to pay for me not slapping the shit out of their insolent children.

Ahhh-Robert Penn Warren. That was always one of my favorites. Ironic that on NPR today-the Diane Rheam (?) show they were discussing one in the same. Have you ever read any of Thomas Wolfe??
Of course, you know, my favorite remains Faulkner.
