Look at this! Look at this! This is where I grew up, but in 1973!!! And we thought we invented sand surfing. Mom! Look! It's Tim Quigl(e)y! I don't know who made this, but it is so great. Makes me wanna go home.
Wow, it made me sick with nostagia for a youth that was never mine. The most americans thing I think I've ever seen in my life, lacking in the dark hillbillie angst that i know from my own youth, full of a kind of frankness that scares me for some reason. this is confirmation that the life I imagined and loved/feared when i was a nascent teen back in 76 really existed. thanks for a freak out and interesting vision wes.
That is so exciting. Tom's gonna tell Tim about it tomorrow. He may already know, but it was fun to watch. Not only is the Matterhorn gone, we don't get waves like that on a normal day anymore.
