Debates

I have to leave to teach class in a minute. Kind of boring so far, but I think Obama's strategy now is to play it safe. Why not, he's winning.

It was a bore.

It is probably better that way. As much as I hate the "like" meter that CNN uses, it was hilarious to watch it drop everytime McCain spoke, and surge everytime Obama came on screen.

I don't think there's a clear winner, but Tom Brokaw lost.

Well, I watched it at a Democratic watch party and THAT was fun! McCain, to me, looked old and scared. Obama was exuding confidence. A few zings which were fun, but mainly groaners from McCain. I wore my Barack peace shirt. It is so cool. Oh, AND my peace symbol earring.

I listened on the radio while doing dishes and organizing a Bookshelf, so maybe I just needed a few fellow-supporters and some peace earrings to make it better. And to see them. Amazing how this campaign has seemed to me only hearing voices- like it was just about the content of ideas, It has made a lot of coverage incomprehensible to me. But then I have realized that my finger isnt exactly on the throbbing pulse of political America ever since Reagan...

I felt it was a boring safe debate, but since Obama has the lead...

attempting to silence the voices in my head.
