The link veered close to the dangerously self-congratulatory but made a good point. It's the liberal bind- take too much credit and it looks like you are undermining real minority accomplishments, reject the credit and you don't get any and your example is lost and you are lost in the big category of "whitey."

Yeah, I agree with what you are saying but I thought the blog post was written by an African-American...but I could be wrong.
