Super Maiko Sighting Ahoy!

Sadly no, I didn't sight super maikos but it was a notable sighting. I was walking to the Hankyu station to get my commuter ticket around 5:30 today. As I crossed Shijo Ohashi I looked at some of the yuka (dining platforms out over the river erected during the summer) south towards Pontocho. There was a dining party attended by at least two maiko. I am fairly sure they were the real deal as they were separate from the normal staff of the restaurant and you kind of get used to being able to tell who are just people dressed up as maiko by how they move. Real maiko kind of float around like little hummingbirds.
